European Maritime Day is the annual meeting point for Europe’s maritime community to network, discuss and forge joint action. The EMD 2017 conference and exhibition will be held on 18-19 May in Poole, UK and is specifically targeted at maritime stakeholders from across Europe: Policymakers, industry representatives, government departments and agencies, NGOs, academics and researchers, etc.
This European conference will be the centerpiece of Poole Maritime Festival, which will run from 15-21 May, and which will also be dedicated to engaging the general public celebrating Poole and Dorset’s local maritime heritage and environment.
As in previous years we invite all interested stakeholders to get actively involved in shaping the event by proposing their workshops.
In cooperation with the Borough of Poole and the United Kingdom’s Permanent Representation in Brussels we would like to invite you to an Info Day Meeting for Maritime Stakeholders on 25th October at 14:00.
The meeting will take place at the Residence of the British Ambassador to the EU, rue Ducale 17, Brussels, Belgium. Please register early, at https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/emd2017-stakeholder-infoday, room has limited capacity.
An agenda of the meeting is available at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/maritimeforum/en/node/3955. The information presented at that information meeting will be available on that page as of 25 October.
