New York Times article that 2015 is likely to be the hottest year ever recorded

The New York Time is reporting today that 2014 is the hottest year ever record. The waming of the oceans is central to this. Jessica Blunden, a climate scientist with the US National Ocean and Atmosphere Administration or NOAA, point to the increase in surface temperature of as much as 3 degrees Fahrenheit or 1t o 2 degrees Celcius in several of the world’s oceans. This is being seen all across the Indian Ocean, huge parts of the Atlantic Ocean, and in parts of the Arctic Oceans. Over such as large surface area, this is a substantial increase that has not been seen before.
