The 2015 meeting will contribute to the ongoing international development of ASLO by bringing together a diverse group of participants at a site where many cultures have engaged throughout the centuries. Located in the South of Spain, Granada is anchored by the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the highest mountain range of the Iberian Peninsula and the tropical coast of the Mediterranean Sea. With a history deep in diversity, to a present rich in culture, vitality, and acceptance, Granada is the perfect setting to bring together scientists, engineers, students, educators, policy makers and other stake holders to engage in an international dialogue.
